With many engagements announced in 2020, although troubled by the pandemic, a few celebrity weddings have enlightened it. Despite the Covid, many celebrities said « yes » to each other’s this year! Of course, Celebrity weddings are no exceptions for the restrictions to follow. The number of guests is reduced, plans are often changed, but nothing prevents to unite with your love.
1. Debby Ryan & Josh Dun
The famous 27-year-old actress and the drummer of the Twenty-One Pilots duo married in Austin last New Year’s Eve (technically still 2019, but the party continued into the New Year!) The couple revealed that they planned the entire ceremony in just 28 days. They kept the ceremony a secret for five months, finally revealing the news after fans noticed Dun wearing a wedding ring in his latest video clip.
2. Frankie Muniz & Paige Price
The former star Frankie Muniz, 34, married in Phoenix, Arizona, the model, Paige Price, 31 years old, after 4 years of relationship. They were married on February 21 in an intimate ceremony on the four-year anniversary of the day they first met.
3. Dennis Quaid & Laura Savoie
At 66 years old, Dennis Quaid married Laura Savoie, 27 years old, on June 2nd in Santa Barbara, California. The couple had planned to marry in April in Hawaii with a reception in Nashville, but due to the coronavirus they had to change their plans. This is the fourth marriage of the actor and this time the pastor was the only witness.
4. Brittany Snow & Tyler Stanaland
The american actress Brittany Snow, 34 years old, married snowboarder and real estate agent Tyler Stanaland, 30 years old, in an intimate outdoor ceremony on March 15 in Malibu, California. The couple met through mutual friends and social media accounts and got engaged in February 2019.
5. Tove Lo & Charlie Twaddle
At the age of 32, the Swedish pop star married Charlie twaddle, a creative director during a secret marriage on July 25. It was a surprise for the media and her fans. They shared the news on an Instagram story just after the ceremony.
6. Vanessa Morgan & Michael Kopech
On January 4, the Actress Vanessa Morgan married professional baseball player Michael Kopech during a gorgeous bohemian ceremony just south of Miami. After several years of relationship, the 34-year-old actress, Raven-Symoné married her partner Miranda Pearman-Maday. They decided to brave the pandemic by organizing a modest ceremony in a garden on June 18th.

At the age of 32 and 35 years old, the Hollywood star, Emma stone and the comedian, Dave McCary both married for the first time. The couple met on the set of “Saturday Night Live”, in December 2016, when Emma Stone was invited to present the show. Wishing to keep their marriage secret, we know that they got married in September, after having to move the original date of March due to the coronavirus.
9. Elizabeth Gillies & Michael Corcoran
Singer and actress Elizabeth Gillies, 27, met the producer and composer Michael Corcoran, 47, several years ago, but it took a while before they started dating. The pair had to postpone their wedding due to the pandemic. They were finally married on a farm in New Jersey on August 8th.
10. Princess Raiyah & Ned Donovan
Princess Raiyah of Jordan and British journalist Ned Donovan were married in an intimate ceremony in England on 7 July. Donovan proposed to the princess in October last year after the couple met in India in 2018. While the 34-year-old princess’ mother, Queen Noor, was present, the ceremony was limited to four people (excluding the bride and groom). Under the new measures, no food or drink was consumed and there was no music.
11. Larry David & Ashley Underwood
After 3 years together, Larry David, creator and star aged 73, married Ashley Underwood, 41, on October 7 in southern California. In the past, the comedian was married to environmental activist Laurie David for 14 years, it is therefore his second marriage.

After a year of love, the 35-year-old singer got married for the second time, while the 45-year-old actor has just gotten married for the very first time. Lily Allen and David Harbour united in a traditional and crazy ceremony at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas on September 7. After exchanging their vows, the newlyweds went to a fast-food restaurant to enjoy hamburgers.
13. Princess Beatrice & Edo Mapelli Mozzi
After delaying their wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic, Princess Beatrice, 32, and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 38, married in at All Saint’s Chapel, in Windsor Great Park on July 17. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip were among the few guests, as well as Beatriz’s father, Prince Andrew.
14. John Cena & Shay Shariatzadeh
WWE superstar and Hollywood actor John Cena married aged 43 Married for the second time. His wedding with Shay Shariatzadeh aged 30 took place in a private courthouse ceremony. in Tampa, Florida on October 12.
15. Joel Courtney & Mia Scholink
The young actor Joel Courtney, 24 years old, married his best friend Mia Sholink, 23 years old in an outdoor ceremony in Phoenix, Arizona, on September 27. They have known each other since they were very young, although the romance did not take place until 2017. Joel Courtney decided to pop the question on Valentine’s day!
16. Toni Garrn & Alex Pettyfer
Engaged since Christmas 2019, the 28-year-old top Toni Garrn and the 30-year-old actor Alex Pettyfer said “yes” to each other at the beginning of October at Berner Schloss Castle in Germany. The couple reportedly met in 2017 through Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher.

Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost have been a couple since 2017 after meeting on the set of the American show “Saturday Night Live”. The couple got engaged in May 2019 after dating for two years. This will be Colin Jost’s first marriage and Scarlett Johansson’s third.
19. Prince Philippos of Greece & Nina Flohr
Princess Diana’s godson, Prince Philippos of Greece, married her long-time girlfriend in a surprise royal wedding. Both aged 34, The New York-based financial analyst tied the knot with VistaJet’s aviation heiress Nina Flohr aged on December 12 in the exclusive Swiss ski resort of St. Moritz.
