After planning weddings in Paris and across France for many years, I have learned that what couples see on the wedding day is often only a small part of the story.
One wedding in particular remains unforgettable. A few days before the celebration, we discovered that a delivery truck carrying part of the wedding décor would not be able to access the venue because of unexpected restrictions imposed by the local authorities. The wedding was taking place at a historic property near Paris, and access for large vehicles had suddenly been limited due to road works in the area.
With guests arriving from several countries and vendors already scheduled, postponing was not an option.
We immediately reorganized the logistics, arranged smaller vehicles, adjusted delivery times and coordinated the entire operation with the venue and suppliers. The process required dozens of phone calls and several last-minute changes, but everything was installed on time.
On the wedding day, the couple enjoyed a flawless celebration and never experienced the stress happening behind the scenes.
Moments like these remind me that wedding planning is not only about beautiful venues, flowers or design. It is about anticipating challenges, finding solutions and protecting the experience of our couples so they can focus entirely on celebrating with their loved ones.
